Our Founding Story

Over the years, that little military blog opened doors I never could have imagined.

What began as a creative outlet during military life grew into opportunities to work alongside some of the biggest names in beauty and fashion. From national campaigns to collaborations with brands I had admired for years, each opportunity reminded me that saying "yes" to something small can lead to places you never expected.

One of those moments became reality when my Macy's campaign was featured on one of the iconic digital billboards in New York City's Times Square.

But that isn't what made the moment unforgettable.

What most people don't know is that the photograph displayed in Times Square wasn't taken by a professional photographer or in a fancy spot. It was taken in the back lot of a shopping strip near the dumpsters but more importantly...

It was taken by my eight-year-old daughter Julianna at the time.

I would set up the camera, teach her where to stand (on a stool we would carry with us), and together we'd capture the photos that told my story. I'd come home, edit them, and post them to my blog, never imagining where they might lead.

Weeks later, one of those photos—the one my little girl captured—was towering above Times Square for the world to see.

That moment wasn't just a career milestone.

It was a reminder that this journey has never belonged to just me.

It has always belonged to our family.

Then life threw us a curveball. After nearly fifteen years of military service, my husband's career unexpectedly came to an end.

Everything we'd planned our future around disappeared almost overnight. We suddenly found ourselves asking the same question so many families ask:

"Now what?"

I was comfortable being a fashion blogger. He believed I could build something bigger. So...without asking me... He signed me up to sell clothing.

To this day, I still laugh thinking about it.
Because if he had asked first...
I probably would've said no.

I'll never forget my first live sale.
I was terrified. I had no clue what I was doing. I think there were three people watching. Maybe four. Most of them were family.

I remember staring at that camera wondering why anyone would want to buy from me. I almost talked myself out of pressing "Go Live." Instead... I hit the button.
That one decision changed our family's life forever.
